Knowing how to combine colors and pieces is NOT synonymous with having style.
I am Vanessa Versiani, a personal stylist with over forty years of professional experience in the fashion industry and over thirty years of experience in personal style.
Knowing how to combine colors and pieces seeking aesthetic harmony is the least that any human being should know how to do. Having style is something that goes far beyond that, because personal style is a non-verbal communication tool. Those who do not have the courage to express themselves, to differentiate themselves from the crowd, do not have a personal style.
Personal style MUST be unique (personal... it should be obvious!), without labels, developing it is an artistic work, not a craft. It is not limited to techniques. And to do this, the professional must have a lot of experience and repertoire, as well as a creative mindset to transform the information received and the resources available into a unique result.
Having a personal style requires the courage to be yourself and the knowledge of an experienced style professional who understands how the fashion industry works. It is not enough to know how to combine colors and pieces.
